Paintless Dent Repair Certification

Certificate Levels

Journeyman

We offer exceptional PDR training programs that go parallel to our PDR-40/80/120 State Approved Paintless Dent Repair Certification programs. Our training programs assess the ability to cleanly repair dents up to the size of a quarter, as well as basic glue pulling techniques, including basic body lines. Our Paintless Dent School students are guaranteed to graduate with a Journeyman Level Certification that exceeds the minimum industry standards.

Craftsman

Craftsman Certification Requirements: Obtain a Verifiable Journeyman Certificate or exceed minimum industry standards.

Demonstrate proficiency in repairing up to golf ball size dents, including crown/pressure dents, and have a clear understanding of panel access without drilling. Possess advanced cross-checking techniques and the ability to repair obstructed damage.

To earn your Craftsman Certification, you must undergo testing in person at a Paintless Dent School approved location, which will be administered by a Paintless Dent School approved Instructor.

Master Craftsman

Minimum Requirements:To become a certified Craftsman, applicants must possess a Craftsman Certification and a minimum of one year of experience in their field.

Master Craftsman Certification:

If a new applicant takes the two-part Master Craftsman certification test and only passes one of the two parts, they will receive a Craftsman certification. After a period of six months, they will be eligible to retake the test and work towards achieving their Master Craftsman Certification.

Paintless Dent Repair Certification

To achieve Master Craftsman Certification, candidates must complete an in-person test at a Paintless Dent School approved location, which will be administered by an approved PDS Instructor. The Certification Test will cover all minimum requirements of Craftsman Level Certification, including but not limited to:

– Repairing baseball and larger sized dents
– Using Heat Induction techniques
– Employing Advanced Glue Pulling methods
– Performing blending techniques
– Handling Hail Repair
– Tackling major creases and body line damage.
